Anthony has been successfully marketing single strategy hedge fund managers at SCS since 2001to a diverse global network of investors including high net worth investors, family offices and a broad range of institutional investors. His professional approach and experience maximises the potential for hedge fund managers to grow and diversify their investor base. He focuses on marketing a small number of high quality managers and he and his firm have earned an excellent reputation with managers, investors and service providers.

Following several years working with a technology focused manager Anthony has developed a keen interest in and knowledge of technology and its ability to transform business models. He is leveraging his experience and investor network to assist New Zealand based technology companies in a directorship and/or capital raising capacity. Anthony is an active angel investor and currently chairs the board of InsuredHQ, a cloud based platform for insurance companies, brokers and agents.

His expertise has been recognised in the 2015, 2014 and 2013 International Hedge Fund Awards as the winner of the Best Hedge Fund Marketer Asia/Australasia in 2015 and Best Australian Placement Agent of the Year in 2014 and 2013. In addition SCS was awarded the 2014 and 2013 ACQ Global Awards as Placement Agency Of The Year - Australia..

Anthony has been a regular speaker at private banking and alternative investment conferences and workshops. He developed and ran the “How To Successfully Market & Develop Your Hedge Fund” workshop for Terrapinn at Hedge Funds World Australia in Sydney and presented “Hedge Funds – Key Steps To Marketing Success” at Euromoney’s Hedge Fund Start Up and Business Development Forums in London and New York. He also developed and ran the “Innovation in Private Banking” series of workshops for Euromoney Training in London, and “Demystifying Structured Derivative Products” workshops for IBC Global Conferences in Brussels and London.

Before co-founding Strategic Capital Services Ltd (“SCS”) in 1999, Anthony was a Director of Bankers Trust’s private bank where he was responsible for the structuring and marketing of alternative investments including hedge funds, private equity and structured derivatives to private banks, IFAs and high net worth individuals across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Bankers Trust in 1996 he spent over 7 years within the Credit Suisse Group in accounting, project management and derivative marketing roles. Anthony is a New Zealander, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University and qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant in New Zealand in 1989.
